Our organization is growing and evolving. We are currently in the process of migrating our previous content into our new look and on a new platform. Please be patient as we get more information for you. We know our parents need credible and solid information to help you with your situation.
IPAA is a an American, international, independent organization that uses data and case studies and creative communication to expose the growing epidemic of international parental abductions and parental alienation. Armed with information we promote solutions that are essential to the prevention and resolutions in international parental abduction cases.
IPAA is currently collecting case histories and evidence of abuse of internationally abducted children. We can't solve the problem until we prove there is one. Most law enforcement agencies won't even take a report from a parent who has had a child abducted by a spouse or ex-spouse. Social Services typically can not do anything if the child is already taken and any reports they get are confidential. Therefore, we are adding to the hundreds of cases we worked on by continuing to collect more cases in order to reveal the systemic breakdowns that exacerbate high conflict cases into abductions. This data is used for valuable legislative action and to build alternative resolutions between nations to get children returned home.
